We are looking to recruit our first City Centre BID Ambassadors

Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) is a brand new initiative funded by businesses within the City Centre BID area. The new initiative commences on 1st November 2017, runs for 5years and has a £6m budget to ensure Bristol is a city centre increasingly known for its safe, attractive and welcoming ‘look and feel,’ by all those who work, study, visit and spend leisure time there.

The Ambassador role is one of Bristol City Centre BID’s major projects

Ambassadors will provide a visible uniformed presence, visiting and helping businesses and visitors out and about in the area.

The role includes quality assurance of the high levels of service businesses require in cleansing, street maintenance, safety, and a variety of other issues that enable them to thrive.

Our Ambassadors will be the ‘eyes and ears’ of the City Centre BID and will be key to improving the experience of all those who use the city centre by providing an accessible, helpful, welcoming presence for all.

The successful candidates will have a positive attitude, passion about Bristol, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Candidates must be able to cover around 8-10 miles per day considering the size and layout of the City Centre BID area.

 

Part time and full time roles are available with a starting salary of £18,500 pa (FTE) (= £9.61 per hour)
