A uniformed team of four ambassadors, providing information, advice and acting as the eyes and ears of a caring city, maintaining positive relationships that will support the City Centre BID and its initiatives.

Collaborative Waste Contract

Develop and deliver a waste and recycling scheme with target savings for our levy payers.


  • Present positive image of the City Centre BID area and promote levy paying businesses and organisations (brand and offers) on different social media channels.
  • Clear and simple communication with the levy payers – both in person and using technology such as this new website and a dashboard.

Safeguarding Marshals

A uniformed and caring team supporting the night time economy and its customers.

Reduce Rough Sleeping

Reduce rough sleeping and begging within the City Centre BID area by working in partnership with charities like St Mungo’s and the local authorities.

Improved Cleansing

Improving cleansing within the City Centre BID area with street washing, chewing gum removal, litter picking and rapid response to graffiti removal.

Seasonal Lighting

Improving visual appeal by supporting Christmas lights display.

Gromit Unleashed 2

The City Centre BID has worked with the Grand Appeal to sponsor a Wallace sculpture in the upcoming trail in July 2018. This massively successful event will bring huge interest and footfall into Bristol. Further details on the site etc. will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
