Agenda
12:00 – Introduction – Tom Swithinbank – Bristol BIDs
12:05 – Presentation – Bristol City Council Transport Team
13:00 – Q & A
13:15 – Close
These changes would improve walking, wheeling and cycling routes, benefit existing bus services, and support our long-term goal to create a segregated rapid transit route from the southwest to the northeast of the city.
We are at the early stage of designing the plans and need your views to make sure we get it right.
To prepare for more people living in and travelling through Bristol City Centre, we are proposing to:
- pedestrianise more of Broadmead
- introduce more landscaping, seating and art and culture space
- prepare the way for a new rapid transit route
- change the route some buses travel through the centre
- change some bus stop locations
- improve walking, wheeling and cycling routes
