20 Days of Calm – In honour of Stress Awareness Month this April, join us on a journey of 20 free events designed to help you relax, recharge, and prioritise wellbeing
Welcome to the Mindful Sensory Walk
Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience where we will engage all of our senses in the beautiful setting of Castle Park. This event is all about slowing down, being present, and connecting with nature.
Dr Miriam Ricci, a People Wellbeing & Development Coach will guide us on this nature-based walk with coaching prompts to deepen presence.
There will be a series of sensory immersion activities, engaging sight, sound, touch, and smell. The event will finish with a group reflection on how mindful walking fosters wellbeing through enhanced presence in the moment.
Whether you’re a seasoned mindfulness practitioner or just looking to try something new, this event is open to all levels. Bring some comfortable shoes and get ready to embark on a journey of self-discovery and relaxation. We can’t wait to see you there!
More about your facilitator: You will be led by an experienced public engagement facilitator, qualified coach and Pilates teacher, trained to support people’s wellbeing and personal growth through mindful movement and connection with the natural world. Miriam Ricci’s professional background is in academic research and education, around sustainable and equitable mobility. She continues to embody these values, through movement, nature and the simple joy of being outdoors. You can find out more on Miriam’s website.
