Bringing the luck of the Irish and great craic to the streets of Bristol, the celebrations will include a full day of music, dancing and fun across the centre with a grand parade for adults and weans on Sunday 19 March.
If you’re up for joining the parade the festivities start at 11.30am, meeting at Trinity Centre to get dressed in our St. Patrick’s Day best. The walk begins at 12.30pm as it makes its way down towards the city centre, featuring floats, dance performances, bands, street performers and more.
From 2 – 8pm, expect fiddles and folk to keep crowds entertained as they do their best jig at the street party Shindig in and around St Nicks, as well as some delicious street food to add to the entertainment.
Ahead of the parade there will be a Fringe Festival from 10 – 18 March with music, dancing, a comedy craic-house, an Irish film festival, and a programme of talks on contemporary Irish history and shared experiences with black and ethnic minorities.
