A lunchtime expert-led drawing workshop, where you will learn to sketch the wildlife found around Bristol’s harbourside! Take a break from the office over lunch to get outside, connect with nature, and unleash your creativity during this relaxing, guided drawing session.
This workshop is open to everyone, from beginners to experienced artists, and will be led by local wildlife artist Alicia Hayden.
You will have the chance to draw two species that are found in and around Bristol Harbourside:
- The Common Comorant
- The European Eel
This event is suitable for adults aged 18+

How long will the session be? The workshop will last for 45 minutes from 12.30 – 1.15pm. If you have more time and would like to stay for longer, there will be an additional 30 minutes from 1.15 – 1.45pm.
Should I bring anything? We will provide pens, pencils and paper, however, if you have a preferred method of drawing, please bring this along! Bring your lunch along if you’re taking part on your lunch break.
Accessibility
From the meeting place we will walk to Castle Park along hard surface. There are no steps or kerbs en route. At Castle Park, we will walk across the grass to find a place to sit. The ground might be uneven. The route will be no longer than 1km.
