New art for Park Street

After an incredible weekend at Upfest 2018, internationally renowned graffiti artist LeMak brought his unique signature style to Park Street. On 2 August he created a new piece of art on a purpose-built hoarding outside 50 Park Street.

The brand new piece will be displayed on Park Street until 2 September, when it will be moved to a more permanent home.

While there you can enjoy a whole range of new artworks created during our #ParkStreetUnleashed event on 8 July. On display is work from artists including Hannah Bone, Paula Bowles and The Knitted Pea. At the top of Park Street, you can see an amazing collaboration by Inkie and Cheba.

All of the pieces have been created as part of Bristol City Centre BID’s Art is Central series involving some of the best art talent from across the UK. New work will be commissioned and displayed across the city, with installations planned for the Old City, Harbourside and St James Barton Roundabout areas.

We’re not just focusing on street art and illustration. In the coming months we will be expanding the range of activities to include other art forms to benefit the entire city centre area.
