With the temperature having fallen again, if you’d like to help support Bristol’s night shelters please consider making a donation via the contactless donation points at Bristol Energy on the Harbourside and in Broadmead; they make it easy to #give2quid. The money goes to Caring in Bristol, The Julian Trust, St Mungo's and Crisis Centre Ministries. Further information on the link: bristolshoppingquarter.co.uk/give2quid-to-help-the-homeless/... ⚠️ With temperatures expected to drop below 0° tonight and continuing into next week, the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol has been activated in Bristol. This will provide an additional 60 spaces for people rough sleeping in addition to the 65 shelter spaces open all year round and the 12 currently available from the Bristol Churches Winter Night Shelter programme. Please help spread the word to those in need by directing people you think are sleeping rough to the Compass Centre (1 Jamaica Street, Bristol, BS2 8JP) before 4:30pm to access spaces.
Our ambassadors are very excited this morning ahead of their first 'meet & greets' at lunchtime. Look out for them near The Smoke Haus/Colston Tower and in The Bearpit (blue jackets, big blue banners, you can't miss them).
