More than 200 businesses across Bristol City Centre are actively utilising the Radio Net system, enhancing communication and assistance within the city. The comprehensive Bristol City Centre Radio Scheme comprises over 200 diverse businesses from Bristol City Centre BID, Broadmead BID, Redcliffe & Temple BID. This inclusive network encompasses supermarkets, retailers, pubs, nightclubs, restaurants and hotels, among others.

The Radio Net system establishes direct connectivity with key stakeholders including Bristol City Council’s Operations Centre, Avon and Somerset Police, Cabot Circus, The Galleries, and the Bristol Street Pastors. By fostering clear communication and collaboration, this integrated approach effectively addresses various issues.

Our collaborative efforts with the above partners have already yielded positive results in deterring crime and significantly enhancing the safety of our city. The simple act of utilising the radio system has proven to be a powerful tool in achieving these outcomes.

As part of our ongoing efforts, we are actively engaging with businesses throughout the city to provide refresher training for existing radio holders, ensuring they are well equipped to utilise the system to its full potential. If your business is interested in gaining access to a radio or would like to schedule a training session, then please feel free to reach out to Carmen.
