Glittering handmade disco balls have appeared in Bristol’s streets this week to mark the last stage of reopening the city’s businesses, as part of the #LoveBristol campaign from Bristol City Centre BID.
A shimmering giant pink disco heart was the first to be installed on King Street, followed by giant disco balls on Corn Street, St Nicholas Street, Harbourside and Frogmore Street, bringing sparkle to the city this summer.
This marks this much anticipated time when all businesses including those in the later nighttime economy, are able to re-open and safely welcome people back. The installations also reflect the sunlight adding to a sense of brightness and joy as the city continues on its path to recovery.
