Stress Awareness Month

Support for you during Stress Awareness Month and beyond.

03/04/2023

Welcome to Stress Awareness Month! This annual event, held every April, is dedicated to raising awareness about the impact of stress on our lives and promoting the importance of mental health and wellbeing. The demands of daily life can often leave us feeling overwhelmed, making it all the more essential to prioritise the welfare of both staff and the wider community.

To support this, we have rounded up a selection of projects and events to help you better understand stress and take part in stress relief. So, let’s dive in and learn how to take control of your mental health during Stress Awareness Month and beyond.

UNDERSTANDING STRESS

In recognition of Stress Awareness Month, we want to highlight SeedL, our free online learning platform which offers a variety of courses and resources that can help you better understand and cope with stress in healthy and effective ways.

Whether you want to learn more about mindfulness and meditation, explore different relaxation techniques, or understanding mental health, this platform has something for everyone.

Courses offered on this free online learning platform are designed to be flexible and accessible, no matter what your schedule may look like. Whether you have just 20 minutes to spare, an hour or more, you’ll be able to find courses that fit your needs and time constraints.

SeedL is available to levy payers all year round and provides over 200 live virtual subjects held on interactive webinars, including CPD accredited courses. Access courses from your desk or through remote working.
