Throughout 2023 so far, businesses across the three central Business Improvement Districts in Bristol have been using SeedL, a free online training platform provided to all levy paying businesses, withover 370 hours of training being completed. Businesses including Bristol Old VicSt George’s Bristol, Inside Travel Group and more have been making use of the free e-learning with popular course subjects including communication skills, Excel, Office 365, leadership essentials and stress management.

‘I have found the training sessions to be really interesting, with the majority of the courses available being not only relevant to our industry but also being led by relevant industry teachers who were able to offer insight and knowledge from their own experiences.’

The Training Hub has had growing demand since its launch in January. In August, 74 hours of training were recorded by the BID community and 85% of attendees rated the courses “Very Good” or “Excellent”.

Samantha Hall, Inside Travel Group

‘I’ve really enjoyed using the SeedL learning platform to upskill and learn about topics that interest me. There’s such a variety of courses on the platform that I’ve been spoilt for choice.'
