As we wave goodbye to September, we reflect back upon our fabulous city centre cleansing team’s hard work at keeping our BID area a welcoming place for all this month. The team have had a successful month, with an amazing 83 items of unwanted graffiti being removed from 49 locations. The team has responded to an increased amount of levy payer requests; this month there were 12 requests from businesses including The Radisson Blu Hotel, Triodos Bank, Lloyds and Tesco. Our team is always happy to help our businesses so please get in touch, should you have any cleansing queries. To help us reduce prolific graffiti in the city, please report  criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system.

September saw the start of a deep clean of Baldwin Street which sees hundreds of visitors each day and the opening of new businesses, making it one of the key routes in our Old City. Alongside this, the team also focused their weekly cleansing rounds along Park Street, Queens Road and the Harbourside.

As always we’d like to thank Tom and Ashley for their continuous hard work to keep our city centre clean and graffiti free! The team works so hard with smiles on their faces and we are very appreciative of their efforts.
