Blustery and wet October didn’t stop our cleansing team, who triumphed this month on their weekly cleansing rounds. Tom and Ashley fought through the dark early mornings to deep clean the venues along the harbourside, as well as outside of Sainsbury’s, the Cathedral and The Bristol Hotel.

The team were also able to remove an amazing 94 items of unwanted graffiti from 67 locations across the city centre, bringing the year to date total to 1105 items across 571 locations… great work! Our team is always happy to help our businesses so please get in touch, should you have any cleansing queries. To help us reduce prolific graffiti in the city, please report  criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system.

10 emergency levy payer cleansing requests were responded to with great feedback received regarding their rapid response. Tom and Ashley were able to deep clean outside of levy payer businesses, helping to improve outside areas as well as supporting the Cathedral to remove algae.

A fabulous 326 miles were covered in our electric cleansing van this month, helping to keep Bristol’s streets grime free for all to enjoy! As always we’d like to say a big thank you to Tom and Ashley for their continuous hard work to keep our city centre clean and graffiti free! The team works so hard through the dark and cold mornings and we are very grateful.
