In celebration of Learning at Work Week 2024 (running now until Sunday 19th May) Redcliffe & Temple BID, Bristol City Centre BID and Broadmead BID have revealed stats around their partnership with SeedL, the interactive and live virtual training service.

The BIDs first partnered with SeedL in early 2023, to provide Bristol businesses with free resources, workshops and training that enable them to navigate a vast array of workplace situations and opportunities. Since then, the partnership has proved to be a success, with 1,795 live training sessions booked and 98% of users rating the service good, very good or excellent.

In line with this year’s Learning at Work Week theme, ‘Learning power’, SeedL assists businesses in continuous learning, empowering them to change and grow to achieve individual, team and organisational goals. The platform has been elevating Bristol businesses through its offering of a wide and diverse range of courses and has provided access to over 200 free sessions across 14 subjects, including CPD-accredited courses.

Courses range from practical skills like help with inbox management, to support in building self-esteem and confidence in the workplace, all of which are designed to offer business employees the skills they need to flourish in their working environments.

A variety of businesses are benefiting from the service, which hosts courses suited to suit all sectors including law, healthcare and charity services. Ultraleap, based in Bristol’s Glass Wharf, is utilising the platform by signposting employees to the platform on a tailored basis depending on current challenges and development areas for individuals.

Victoria Purdon, Head of Wellbeing and People Development at Ultraleap, said:

“SeedL is a great resource that supports employees who are looking to develop workplace skills, and has proved especially useful for those who are new to the workforce. The fact that it is free via the Bristol City Centre BID has been invaluable in terms of cost and time savings for us, and has helped us to support more employees with their growth and development.”

Steve Bluff, Head of Redcliffe & Temple BID, said:

“This Learning at Work Week, it’s great to see how successful our partnership with SeedL has been. With 98% of business users recommending the platform, it's clear the impact SeedL has had on our businesses, and we look forward to seeing the continuous positive impact it has on our business community.”

SeedL provides a range of online learning to benefit office-based businesses, with courses covering Office 365, project management and sales. All Bristol City Centre BID, Redcliffe & Temple BID and Broadmead BID businesses can sign up to SeedL to gain free access to over 200 courses.
