Breaking barriers: Celebrating and enhancing Bristol’s nightlife with Lady of House DJs

We’re supporting Lady of the House's upcoming project, promoting women in Bristol’s music, nightlife and events scene.

As part of our Enhance/Promote Fund, we’re supporting UK-based music organisation, Lady of House DJs’ latest project, promoting women in Bristol’s music, nightlife and events scene.

Join them on Saturday 19th October at Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, from 2:30pm – 3:30pm, for a powerful panel discussion. Moderated by Inma Montenegro, the event will focus on elevating, supporting and protecting women in Bristol’s music, nightlife and events industries. The panel will discuss breaking barriers, promoting safety and fostering inclusive spaces for women across the creative industries.

Speakers include:

Inma Montenegro (Moderator),  founder of MasTechno and Intirave.

Inma is a leading figure in Bristol’s electronic music scene. Her dedication to inclusivity and support for diverse talent has made her a key advocate for women and immigrant communities in the industry.

SOTO (Graciela Soto)

Venezuelan-born and a rising star in Bristol’s techno scene, SOTO is known for her captivating performances blending hypnotic melodies and industrial beats. SOTO’s upcoming EP on Diffuse Reality is highly anticipated.

Lizzy Mulholland, co-founder of Karuna Collective

Lizzy is dedicated to drug policy reform, and has extensive experience in evaluating and improving policies. As co-founder of Karuna Collective, she offers advice on safe drug use, particularly to young people on TikTok. Lizzy’s mission includes collaborating with organisations to implement harm reduction measures in Bristol’s nightclubs.

Zeina Raad

Raad is a seasoned Marketing Manager with over 25 years of experience, specialising in music. She excels in marketing strategy, digital transformation, brand management and data analytics.

Betsy Mae Marketing Director & DJ for Sexy Lady Massive

Sexy Lady Massive is known for its electrifying events that celebrate women in electronic music. They specialise in high-energy parties and festivals with all-female lineups, showcasing both emerging and established female artists.

Cassie Madly

MĀDŁY is a Bristol based 4-piece band recreated in 2021. During lockdown, front woman Cassie Madly collaborated with different producers to deliver her debut EP ‘The End of Me’.
