16/07/2025

The sun is out, and the excitement is building. England have shaken off the nerves of their opening defeat to France, and found their stride with two excellent wins against the Netherlands and Wales, propelling the holders into the quarter-finals.

But, where to watch Thursday’s 8pm quarter-final clash with Sweden and – dare we dream – beyond? Whether you’re a seasoned fan of The Lionesses or just looking for a fun night out, central Bristol has something for everyone.

Take a look at some of our recommendations below…

City Centre

Bambalan is the perfect place to cheer on The Lionesses, grab your crew and enjoy the big match on the big screen – walk-ins welcome, booking recommended.

More than just a live sports venue, at Roxy Lanes on Union Street, you can enjoy a huge variety of games alongside the game that really matters, it might help ease the nerves!

One of the city centre’s most historic pubs, The Bay Horse, are screening every match of The Lionesses’ Euros 2025 trophy hunt, so why not book in and have a bite to eat?

Park St

Why not get your pre-match steps in and head up Park Street to Allstars Sports Bar? The bar boasts a massive five-metre screen and plenty of student drinks deals.

A little further down Park Street, we have the White Harte who are really pulling out all the stops with a special ‘Hellmann’s™ Russo Burger’ (‘created by Lionesses striker Alessia Russo).

With screens and drink deals galore, make sure to book a table quickly at The Green House – they’re even offering a Euros Bottomless Brunch deal.

Old City & King Street

Watch the Lionesses – hopefully – bring it home again at King St Brewhouse. Enjoy the half-time break, soaking up the sun on King Street.

Fans can also book a table at the beautiful 6 O’Clock Gin at the Glassboat – football and gin, the perfect match!

Another stylish setting screening the Euros is Horts Townhouse, offering delicious pub food and a massive selection of beers.

Finally, Head to O’Neills on Baldwin Street, a popular spot to enjoy all things sport, music, food and more.
