Another round, Bristol? Bristol Cocktail Weekend returns with first 25 bars and a brand-new festival hub at Bambalan announced

Bristol’s city centre is set to shake up a four-day celebration of cocktails & creativity as Bristol Cocktail Weekend returns for their third and most ambitious year to date this autumn!

28/04/2025

Running from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 September, the popular festival will once again invite cocktail lovers to explore Bristol’s bar scene, featuring £6 signature serves, £5 alcohol-free alternatives and unique experiences across a wide network of venues. Today, the first 25 participating bars have been revealed, with even more to be announced in the lead-up to the event.

This year also sees the launch of The LOS ARCOS Hub at Bambalan – a vibrant festival base where wristband-holders can collect their guides and their wristbands whilst sampling LOS ARCOS Blue Weber Agave Spirit with brand experts from the world of Tequila, Mezcal and other agave-based spirits.

Organised by food and drink events specialists Living For The Weekend, and supported by Festival Partner Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID), Bristol Cocktail Weekend continues to build on its momentum following two successful years of city-wide celebration.

Among the first 25 venues announced are returning favourites including Milk Thistle, Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The Granary Club, Dirty Martini, Harvey Nichols Second Floor Bar and Filthy XIII, alongside new names such as Jaded Dragon – the UK’s first Chinese Tiki Baiju bar, which opened in January 2025 on Whiteladies Road. More bars will be added in the coming weeks.

In 2024, 87% of attendees said they visited a venue they hadn’t been to before, and 99.5% tried something new – showing the festival’s impact in boosting footfall and broadening experiences.

Early Access tickets are on sale now for the discounted rate of £10 (plus booking fee) via Design My Night. Ticket holders can access all of the food and drink offers as part of the festival. They will also receive a copy of the festival guide, the opportunity to book onto a special programme of cocktail events and experiences, plus entry to the LOS ARCOS Hub.

Alex Nicholson-Evans, Founder and Director of Bristol Cocktail Weekend, said:

“It’s a real privilege to return for our third year and see how much the city has embraced the festival. We’re welcoming back some brilliant bars and introducing fresh venues to discover, plus we’re certain this year’s LOS ARCOS hub will be a huge hit. We’ve got some fantastic events in the pipeline and our venues are already cooking up some exciting food offers - we can’t wait to share more about this unmissable long weekend as the festival approaches.”

Vicky Lee, Director of Bristol City Centre BID, said:

“Bristol Cocktail Weekend shines a spotlight on the talented teams behind our city’s hospitality sector. It brings people into the city, encourages exploration and supports local businesses in a meaningful way.”

Bristol Cocktail Weekend is an 18+ event. Please drink responsibly.
