April Cleansing Report

A month of essential spring cleaning around the city

02/05/2024

BID Lead

With a month of April showers and sunny spells, the cleansing team were hard at work on their spring clean around the city this month.

The team had a busy April covering a total of 342 miles on their weekly cleansing rounds across the Old City, Queens Road, Park Street, Baldwin Street, and Harbourside. The team responded to 15 levy payer requests, where they performed dedicated wash-downs and deep cleans for The Bristol Hotel, The Granary, and Bristol Old Vic, to ensure business fronts and streets were spotless.

Over April, the team removed 169 items of graffiti from across the city centre. To help us reduce prolific graffiti in the city, please report any unwanted graffiti you spot as criminal damage to the police.

We would like to thank Tom and Ashley for their hard work this month and beyond as they continue to keep the city centre clean and welcoming for everyone.

For any cleansing requests, please get in touch.
