BID Lead

Operating across three of Bristol’s BIDs: Bristol City Centre, Redcliffe & Temple, and Broadmead, it was established in 2019 as a development of the long-running Crime Reduction Partnership led by Broadmead Business Improvement District (BID).

The aim is to nurture a strong relationship between and represent Bristol’s diverse day and nighttime economies. Levy-paying businesses within the BID areas are eligible to join the BCRP and enjoy its numerous benefits for discounted rates.

This week of events comes as part of the first-ever National BCRP Awareness Week, organised by The National Association of Business Crime Partnerships and The National Business Crime Centre. BCRPs are not-for-profit, subscription-based, local organisations with the purpose of preventing crime and antisocial behaviour, by uniting the local business community with local statutory services, including Police and local authority.

BCRP Awareness Week…

Taking place the week commencing 17th March, the inaugural BCRP Awareness Week will focus on the important and varied work of BCRPs, highlighting ways in which the partnership supports our local community.

The week will feature a diverse event programme highlighting the partnership’s holistic approach to preventing business crime and ensuring the safety of those who live, work, and socialise in central Bristol. This initiative aims to better understand the issues affecting the business community and to develop long-term solutions through collaboration.
