‘I’ve really enjoyed using the SeedL learning platform to upskill and learn about topics that interest me. There’s such a variety of courses on the platform that I’ve been spoilt for choice. I really like that the sessions are live, but you are not seen on camera and communicate via the chat box, as opposed to speaking. This gives the sessions a much more relaxed feel and means that you can comfortably take part whilst sitting at your desk in the office.’

Since launching our partnership with SeedL in February of this year, we have seen a number of users enjoy learning with the platform’s unlimited courses across a variety of our levy-paying businesses. To celebrate this, each quarter we will award our top learners with a trophy to recognise their hard work. We recently visited our first top learner, Samantha Hall from Inside Travel Group, to present her with her trophy and to find out what she has gained from the SeedL platform.

What has your experience been like using SeedL?
WHAT’S BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE COURSE?
‘All of the sessions I’ve attended have clearly been led by knowledgeable, experts on the subject matter. Any questions I’ve asked have been answered immediately and I’ve learnt so much. My favourite session so far was about Succession Planning, as that’s something I had absolutely no knowledge of beforehand but I came away from the session with a solid understanding of what it is and how to go about doing it. I really recommend the Excel sessions, as you’re provided with a workbook so you can work along with the facilitator.’
WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU LIKED ABOUT USING IT?
‘Other advantages of SeedL are that there are often a few different dates to choose from for a particular topic which makes it much easier to schedule around work and life commitments; and if you do miss a session for any reason, you can watch the recording afterwards.’
