Jayde Adams headlines star-studded line-up at first-ever Bristol Comedy Festival

Award-winning comedian, actress, and proud Bristolian, Jayde Adams, is the latest act announced for the inaugural The Bristol Comedy Festival, closing out the festival.

Taking place from Sunday January 12th to Saturday January 25th 2025, the much-anticipated festival will celebrate comedy in all its forms, featuring over 100 events, performances, and workshops across the city.

Jayde, winner of the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Best Newcomer award is known for her roles in ITV’s Ruby Speaking and the BAFTA-winning Alma’s Not Normal. She will perform on Saturday January 25th at Dareshack, promising an unforgettable evening of laughter and storytelling.

Recognised by comedy legend Dawn French as the “third funniest woman in the world,” Jayde’s performance at the festival will see her trial new material and promises to be a highlight of the two-week comedy extravaganza, which will also feature performances from Helen Bauer, Mark Watson, Tom Rosenthal and many more.

The Bristol Comedy Festival is not only about entertainment but also about giving back. The festival is supported by Bristol City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) and will raise funds for TAP for Bristol, with donations made at the festival’s events supporting homelessness services across the city.
