Wind, rain and some sunny spells.. What a July that was!

Our city centre cleansing team have been hard at work this month, helping to keep our streets clean and graffiti free for all to enjoy which saw 200 miles of pavement washed.

As well as completing their weekly cleansing rounds, focusing on the upkeep of the old City, Harbourside, Park Street and Queens Road, the team were also able to deep clean the front of businesses including Pho, Sandwich Sandwich Baldwin Street and Mackenzies. By focusing on the harbourside, the team were able to ensure the area was as clean and welcoming for Bristol Harbourfest and all of its visitors.

On the graffiti front, Tom and Ashley removed an amazing 75 items of graffiti across 40 locations, with the amount of unwanted graffiti falling across the BID area. This brings the yearly total to 785 items across 405 locations. Well done team!

As always we’d like to say a big thank you to Tom and Ashley for their continual hardwork and dedication to the role. Their work does not go unnoticed and is very much appreciated!

To help us reduce prolific graffiti, report any criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system. If you have a cleansing query and would like to get in touch, please contact us below.
