The city centre cleansing team have been working tirelessly to keep the city clean for the summer. With the busy Harbour Festival weekend and an influx of summer visitors, the team concentrated on removing grime from high-footfall areas.
In July, the team deep cleaned pavements across the city to ensure a cleaner space for everyone to enjoy. Deep clean locations for this month included Small Street, Clare Street, Harbourside, and John Street. The team covered 316 miles on their weekly cleansing rounds and responded to 8 levy payer requests to ensure business fronts and surrounding pavements were spotless.
