Come rain or shine, our city centre cleansing team have been hard at work this March, helping to keep key areas clean throughout the month. One of the areas of focus was St. Nicholas Street, for this month’s W.E.Irish St Patrick’s Day Parade and street party, to celebrate Bristol’s Irish community.

The team have worked tirelessly, helping to keep the streets sparkling this spring, with weekly cleansing rounds including Old City, Harbourside, Park Street and Queens Road. In total, 206 miles of pavement were cleaned this month, alongside an astounding 137 items of graffiti being removed from 42 locations!

We’d like to say a big thank you to Tom and Ashley for all that they do. Their hard work does not go unnoticed with appreciation of their work coming from both us and our businesses, with appraisals such as:

Building Manager, the Programme

‘Just to say, the concourse looks AMAZING after your deep clean! I didn’t realise how many colours there were because it had always been so grubby, and I’ve had so many comments from the tenants to say how nice it looks. We really appreciate the cleansing team and are very glad to have them’

Help us reduce prolific graffiti by reporting criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any unwanted graffiti you need removing or any other cleansing issues you need support with.
