£35,000 has been used to fund projects which provide emergency support. Charities which have benefitted are St Mungo’s, Second Step, Caring in Bristol’s, Caring at Christmas project, One25 and 1625 Independent People.

These ongoing projects, provide financial assistance for people to travel to use health services, access laundry or wash facilities and help with basic necessities to build a home. They also provide young people with food vouchers, phones and credit to enable them to maintain contact with their support network and are lifelines to those fleeing risky situations in emergencies or domestic violence

The donations received from TAP for Bristol have directly helped over 400 individuals, who have benefited from the emergency support aspect of the scheme.
