Our free-to-attend one-day music event Old City Sounds is set to take over King Street, St Stephen’s Church, St Nicholas Street and St Nicks Market on 26 August from 12-6pm. Whether you’re heading out with friends, family or flying solo, the day is set to be jam packed full of songful soul, Jazz and family friendly fun. We’ve got you covered with our roundup of places to eat and drink whilst enjoying the music throughout the day.

OLD CITY KIDS ZONE ON ST STEPHENS AVENUE

Heading with the little ones to the Old City Kids zone? Grab cakes and lighter bites to eat at the St Stephen’s Church Secret Café or head to Cosy Club to enjoy their family friendly kids menu.

Head to the Clayton Hotel and receive 10% off your food and beverages by quoting ‘old City Sounds’ and following them on Instagram and Facebook.

Enjoy a kids pizza, drink and dessert for just £7.65 at Franco Manco to fuel watching the extensive list of children’s acts and entertainment or enjoy the kids menu at Honest Burger.

In need of a cold drink to sip on whilst wandering around the festival? Head to Caffè Nero.

OLD CITY ACOUSTICS ZONE AT ST NICKS MARKET

Immerse yourself in quality music and food at St Nicks Market, with street food options galore! From dumplings, to falafel to paella and BBQ meat – your options are endless!

Wander around the indie, flea and indoor markets whilst listening to local buskers at two locations.

Mr Wolf’s iconic horsebox will be in place on St Nicholas Street serving delicious drinks all day to keep you refreshed and ready to party!

Wanting a cocktail worth posting on Insta? Head to the exclusive Gold Bar at Bristol Harbour Hotel.

Wanting to keep the good vibes going? Head to Flight Club, The Cocktail Club and Dirty Martini to carry on the dancing!

OLD CITY ECLECTIC ZONE ON ST NICHOLAS STREET

Tempt your tastebuds with soulful Asian flavours by heading to Four Wise Monkeys, Dhamaka or Pho, with food being served throughout the day and evening.

Looking for Italian flavours? Head to San Carlo for a meal worth remembering with friends.

Head to The Old Duke for their annual Jazz fest, with some of the best blues and jazz on offer all day.

Sit outside on the benches and enjoy drinks from Hey Dude, The Llandoger Trow, Kongs or The Famous Royal Navy Volunteer

In need of a bite to eat? head along to King Street Brewhouse, The Beer Emporium, Small Bar , Bar + Block, or Bristol Old Vic to enjoy delicious sandwiches, burgers, wings and more.
