Support for the street community in Bristol this Christmas

A list of businesses and organisations providing free meals and shelter for the street community over the festive period.

Businesses with contacts in the street community are encouraged to share this information with relevant contacts.

Thursday 19th December – 12-2pm – Delta Hotel by Marriott will be spreading the festive cheer by providing those facing homelessness in Bristol with a festive lunch filled with delicious food and great company.* During this season of goodwill, it is important to reach out a hand to those who need it most and that’s exactly what Marriott and Bristol Homelessness Forum are doing. Delta Hotel by Mariott is located at 2 Lower Castle Street, Bristol BS1 3AD and the venue can hold 400+ people.

Wednesday 18th December – 7 – 9pm and Saturday 28th December – StreetLife will be hosting an evening Christmas meal at Turnaround Centre, Lincoln Street, BS1 3AD. StreetLife are a Bristol charity who provide hot meals, drinks, soup, cold meal packs and clothing to the homeless and needy.

Monday 23rd – Tuesday 31st of December – The Julian Trust will be opening its night shelter.

Tuesday 24th – Monday 30th December – 10am-4pm – Caring at Christmas at Trinity Centre where there will be showers with help to facilitate from Citadel.

Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th December – Logos House will provide free lunches for all their residents

Closures:

Turnaround day centre is closed after the 19th of December and reopens on the 6th January.

BOSH is closed from after Sunday 22nd December & reopens on Tuesday 31st December.

Wild Goose will close after Monday 23rd and reopen on Thursday 2nd January.

Bristol Soup Run Trust will be closed only on 25th December but open all other days.

Feed the Homeless will close after 22nd Dec and start again on 3rd Jan

Helping Homeless Believe – not out in central Bristol on 17th,  24th and 31st December.

*No alcohol permitted & pets are not allowed indoors but can be tied up at the entrance.
