In June we were delighted to be able to host an update to discuss Bristol’s transport challenges and hear from Adam Crowther, Head of Strategic Transport for Bristol City Council on upcoming schemes and priorities.

These sessions are invaluable to provide our levy payers with information on in-progress and upcoming schemes and we will aim to repeat this session at least once a year if not more often.

Prior to Adam’s update we asked attendees to work together in small groups to identify some priorities we could work with Bristol City Council (BCC), West of England Combined Authority (WECA) and transport providers on to improve.

Priorities included an audit of key pedestrian routes, a pedestrian crossing on Redcliffe Way, signage and coloured cycle lanes, and simplification of information on bus routes and costs.

We are keen to work with Bristol City Council this year to influence the priorities and will feedback on our progress in due course.
