Unicornfest 2023 has arrived! Make the most of the magical unicorn trail by planning your day out. Whether you want to grab a bite to eat, enjoy being outside or plan some fun activities, Bristol city centre has something for all ages. Use our guide below to discover restaurants, shops and entertainment venues nearby the unicorns living in the city centre this summer.

Slimycorn by Guts, We The Curious

Every weekend from 8 July – 3 September, We The Curious will be on Anchor Square running family-friendly activities including experiments with wheels, weights and ramps. Head there from 10:30am – 4pm to take part!

Looking for more family fun? Head to Locked In A Room escape rooms to put your skills to the test.

Fancy a slice of pizza? Head to Pizza Express and enjoy any classic pizza for £8.95 or indulge in free doughballs when you sign up to the Pizza Express Club.

 

Want to end the day by putting your feet up and watching a film? Head to Watershed cinema, café and bar to catch a viewing, with films suitable for all ages.

Head to Las Iguanas to enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails, delicious Latin American food and student, hospitality and blue light discount!

UWEcorn by Chloe Tyler, Bristol Aquarium

Let the magic continue with fish feeding sessions and sensory awareness mornings at Bristol Aquarium.

Catch a show at the Bristol Hippodrome Theatre, including family friendly favourites including Shrek the Musical or go behind the scenes and book onto a theatre tour!

Take a break on the unicorn trail to play a board game, whilst enjoying drinks and snacks from Geek Retreat gaming café.

Enjoy delicious food at Spitfire Barbeque, with portions fit to fuel you for the duration of  the whole unicorn trail!

Head up Park Street to fully immerse yourself in Bristol’s heritage, with lunchtime concerts, songbird sounds and heritage tours at St George’s.
