On Tuesday 19 November 2024, we met with members of our business community at Armada House to celebrate our achievements over the past year. Our annual review also covered our plans for the future, including our consultation for a new, united and expanded Bristol BID.

On Wednesday 29 November 2023, members of our business community gathered at The Foundation for our annual review and update. This year was the first year of our second term and 6th year of operations, where we focused on new priorities and ambition through projects to enhance the city’s economy and its welcome.

BID ANNUAL REPORT 2020/21
As the Bristol City Centre BID’s fourth year came to a close, we were astounded by the resilience, adaptability and strength shown by businesses affected by the pandemic. Throughout 2020/21, we continued to keep central Bristol safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone. Our annual report summarises the activities we have undertaken to support the economic recovery of our levy payers and our city,
BID ANNUAL REPORT 2019/20
Our annual report for 2019/20 outlines how we adapted to the changing needs of our business community throughout lockdown. During this time, we increased street cleansing and patrol times of safeguarding marshals to ensure the city was safe for everyone, and launched our Bristol Together campaign to support local businesses and promote economic recovery. Our 2019/20 report explores the inaugural Bristol Light Festival launch in February and its plans for the future.
BID ANNUAL REPORT 2018/19
The 2018/19 annual report outlines the projects delivered in our second year that support our mission and key objectives. This year, we have continued to focus on making the city centre more attractive and welcoming for all, through delivering 7,000 hours of additional street cleansing, 98% of businesses increasing their recycling rates through our waste contract, and 1,000 hours of our Safety Marshalls keeping the street safe at night.

Our 2017/18 annual report outlines our first year of operation as Bristol City Centre BID. This year, we have been busy establishing solid foundations and developing important relationships to enable us to deliver best value to our levy payers. At the end of our first 12 months, we have delivered significant key projects, including establishing our ambassador team, a wide ranging project to reduce anti social behaviour, improving waste management and cleansing, and articulating and advocating business interest to the council and police.
