In December 2021, we welcomed Nathaniel Naylor, a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), to our team with the aim of enhancing safety in the city centre and supporting local businesses. Employed by Avon & Somerset Constabulary and funded exclusively by Bristol City Centre BID, Nat brings over 5 years of valuable industry experience to the City Centre Neighbourhood Team.

One of Nat’s primary responsibilities is working closely with our levy paying businesses to achieve better outcomes in addressing crime and anti-social behaviour. By actively engaging with the community, Nat plays a vital role in building stronger relationships among businesses, residents, and law enforcement, all working together towards the common goal of crime reduction.

Since joining our team, Nat has been incredibly proactive, having made over 1000 separate engagements with more than 100 different businesses. These engagements have been in response to reports received by the police, direct requests from businesses following incidents, or to provide valuable advice and support.

Nat’s dedication and swift response to addressing concerns have made a significant impact in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our city centre.
