Where is the Bristol Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 Fan Zone?
The Fan Zone is located within Bristol Amphitheatre, around the historic harbour. Use postcode BS1 5LL for arriving at the Fan Zone.
What days will the Fan Zone be open?
All four days when Ashton Gate will be a host venue: The quarter-finals on Saturday 13 September and Sunday 14 September, as well as the semi-finals on Friday 19 September and Saturday 20 September.
All games taking place on these days will be screened, as well as the two quarter-final games in Exeter.
What are the opening times of the Fan Zone?
The Fan Zone will be open on:
Saturday 13 September: 11am-7pm
Sunday 14 September: 11am-7pm
Friday 19 September: 3pm-9pm
Saturday 20 September: 11am-7pm
Do I need a ticket to enter the Fan Zone?
No. The Fan Zone is an inclusive space open to the public and free to enter.
What is the best way to get to the Fan Zone?
The Fan Zone is well situated within walking distance of Bristol City Centre. There are also excellent public transport links and 22 designated Blue Badge parking spaces at the nearby Millennium Square Car Park.
There will also be a ferry running between Bristol Temple Meads and The Amphitheatre for the semi-final weekend. See times below:
Friday 19 September:
Temple Meads – Pick up at 2.15, 2.45pm, 3.15pm – to the Amphitheatre
Amphitheatre – Pick Up at 4.15pm, 4.45pm, 5.15pm, & 5.45pm – to Underfall Yard.
Saturday 20 September:
Temple Meads – Pick up at 11, 11.30, 12pm – to the Amphitheatre
Amphitheatre – Pick Up at 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, & 2.30pm – to Underfall Yard.
Is the Fan Zone fully accessible?
Yes, the site is fully accessible on permanent, hard-standing ground, and there will be a toilet suitable for customers with access requirements.
Is the Fan Zone indoors or outdoors?
The Fan Zone is located fully outdoors, and therefore exposed to the elements, so attendees are to check the weather and dress appropriately.
Are children allowed to attend the Fan Zone?
Yes, the Fan Zone is a family-friendly zone with plenty of fun rugby and non-rugby related activities to keep the little ones entertained!
Will food and drink be available on-site?
Yes, there will be an array of local food vendors available as well as a bar.

Can I bring food and drink into the Fan Zone?
Yes, attendees are allowed to bring their own food and drink; however, there will also be bars and food vendors on-site.
Are dogs welcome in the Fan Zone?
Yes, dogs are more than welcome at The Amphitheatre.

The Fan Zone is situated within walking distance of Ashton Gate Stadium, and there will be a clearly signposted walking route along the way.

Can I visit the Fan Zone after the match has finished?
Match-going fans are advised not to visit the Fan Zone after leaving Ashton Gate, as there is some distance between the two sites, and The Amphitheatre will only remain open until 7pm for the weekend games and 9pm for the game on Friday 19th September.
Are there any items that I cannot bring to the Fan Zone?
Yes. For everyone’s safety and enjoyment of the event, the following are not permitted:
- Glass containers
- Potential harmful fluids
- Weapons – bladed or pointed
- Non-prescription drugs
- Professional recording equipment
- Flares or any pyrotechnic materials
- Windbreakers/tents
- Drones
- Gazebos
- Picnic tables
- Any item which may cause offence to other members of the public
