May was another busy month for our cleansing team with two bank holiday weekends, where people enjoyed themselves and spent time in the city centre. On Sunday 5 June the Big Jubilee Lunch on College Green took place and our team did a brilliant job of making sure the area was looking its best for the many visitors the event attracted to the centre.

The team also protected the new mural on Marlborough Hill Steps which we revealed last month, with anti-graffiti paint and deep cleaned the area of the University Hospitals Bristol ensuring pavement areas, street furniture and high contact locations are clean and welcoming for patients, visitors and staff members.

126 individual items of graffiti were removed from 68 locations and were a combination of specific requests from levy payers and the ongoing proactiveness of the team to identify and remove instances of tagging in key BID areas.

Help us reduce prolific graffiti by reporting criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any unwanted graffiti you need removing or any other cleansing issues you need support with.
