A busy month for our cleansing team as they celebrate their 5th anniversary.

BID Lead

With Bristol Light Festival installations at various locations across the BID area, our cleansing team had a busy start to the month ensuring the city was spotless for festivalgoers. The team got to work with dedicated washdowns and enhanced cleansing measures at key festival locations, keeping the city spick and span for all.

The team responded to 13 levy payer requests this month including deep cleans outside the Clayton Hotel and Radisson Blu Hotel. Other deep clean locations included John Street, The Bank Tavern, and the Harbourside.

The team removed a total of 155 graffiti tags this month, helping to tackle unwanted graffiti in the area. To help us reduce prolific graffiti in the city, please report criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system.

February was also a special milestone for the cleansing team as they celebrated 5 years of the city centre cleansing initiative on February 14th. The team have shown so much dedication and care for the city centre over this period and their hard work is greatly appreciated by everyone here at the BID and our wider business community.

If you have any cleansing requests, please get in touch. Our team is always happy to help.
