Here comes the sun! Our city centre cleansing team have had a busy May, focusing on outside areas used by businesses and the public whilst enjoying the sunshine. The lighter mornings and improved weather conditions have made it easier for Tom and Ashley to carry out their weekly cleansing rounds using their new electric cleansing van.

The deep clean focus for this month were the facades that had algae growing on them, whilst also responding to emergency levy payer requests. Tom and Ashley have also removed a whopping 98 items of graffiti across 53 locations, helping to keep our area attractive and friendly for all.

As always, we’d like to say a big thank you to the city centre cleansing team for all of their hard work and efforts to keep our BID area an inviting and welcoming space for all. Their work does not go unnoticed and we are very appreciative of them, as we are aware of how busy this time of year is.

To help us reduce graffiti in the area, please report any criminal damage to the police via their online reporting system. If you’d like to get in touch regarding a cleansing issue, please contact us directly, using the link below.
